Originally from Seaview High, Paul Rouvray debuted with Glenelg in 1990 and between then and 1999 played 113 games for the club and kicked 44 goals. He was normally used as a defender, but could also play on a wing or as a forward if required. In 1992 he lined up at full back in the Bays team which lost to Port Adelaide in the grand final.
When Adelaide entered the AFL in 1991 Paul Rouvray was an inaugural squad member, but between 1992 and 1994 he only managed 21 appearances and a couple of goals. He then spent some time on Sydney’s list but without playing a senior game.
