Named in the forward pocket for Fitzroy in both the winning grand final of 1916 against Carlton and the losing affair of the following year against Collingwood, Tom Lowrie gave solid service to the Roys in 48 VFL games during which he kicked 48 goals between 1915 and 1919. He finished his league career at St Kilda where he added a final 20 games and 24 goals from 1920 to 1922.
