From Trafalgar, Trevor Somerville was a tall (193cm) slimly built (87kg) ruckman who was a solid performer for South Melbourne in 49 VFL games played from 1963 to 1967. In 1968 he captain-coached North Launceston in the NTFA. He is the brother of Essendon’s John Somerville.
