Although he was not a regular senior player Sturt ruckman Bob Marshall was a loyal servant of the club, both during his playing career and beyond. That playing career spanned the years 1950 to 1961 and saw him make 93 senior appearances and register 25 goals. He later served the Double Blues as a trainer.
The name Bob Marshall is forever embedded in the Sturt narrative as he was one of two people associated with the club to lose their lives in the despicable Bali bombings of 12th October 2002.
