Bohdan Cybulka is one of just four footballers to have won the prestigious Mail Medal seven times. His wins came with River Murray Football League clubs Tailem Bend (1965, 1968-9-70-1-2) and Ramblers (1975). A dashing and talented centreman, he turned down numerous offers to join Adelaide clubs. His achievements appear all the more remarkable when you consider that he preferred soccer as a youngster and did not take up Australian football until twelve months before his first Mail Medal win.
