Graham Adams was a Sandgate junior who was a valuable player with Windsor-Zillmere through the 1980s. He made his debut in the finals of 1981 as a fifteen-year-old, playing in a premiership under Frank Gumbleton, and won another flag in '88. He began as a wingman/midfielder and finished an ever-reliable back pocket.
A club best and fairest winner, he played 22 times for Queensland after making his interstate debut at sixteen, and was a regular standout whenever he pulled on the Maroon jumper. In recent years he has returned to Sandgate to coach as the club rebuilds after some difficult times, and has had a long association with the Northern Raiders development program.
