An accomplished all round footballer who was unfortunately beset by niggling injuries for much of his league career, East Fremantle's Geraldton recruit Graham Kickett was capable of doing a job at either end of the ground. He played 79 games for his club between 1978 and 1985, including the 1979 winning Grand Final, before playing another 41 games for South Fremantle between 1986 and 1989. A genuine two-sided player, he had the rare ability to snap truly for goal, with either foot, from almost any angle. Kickett was sometimes prone to being temperamental and incurred the wrath of the Tribunal on more than one occasion.
