North Adelaide’s Lloyd Weston was an aggressive, close checking permanent back pocket who lined up in that position in the triumphant grand final of 1952 against Norwood. In addition to his defensive qualities, he was a polished ball user, and teamed well with his fellow defenders. Between 1951 and 1957 he played 95 SANFL games in a red and white jumper and booted two goals.
