Mark Brayshaw was a strong, purposeful football capable of performing effectively in any key position. He was a member of Claremont’s 1989 and 1993 premiership teams and all told played 110 games and kicked 75 goals for the club in 1984, from 1986 to 1989 and in 1993-4. Between 1990 and 1992 he played 32 AFL games and booted two goals for North Melbourne. He represented Western Australia against the VFA at Subiaco in 1988.
Since retiring as a player Brayshaw has undertaken a number of football-related administrative and managerial roles including stints as CEO of Richmond, and CEO of the AFL Coaches Association.
