Melbourne-born Mark Soderstrom is well known nowadays as a media personality, but he also enjoyed prominence as a footballer in the SANFL, with North Adelaide (44 games, 17 goals, 1992-5), Glenelg (16 games, 13 goals, 1996) and Sturt (61 games, four goals, 1997-9). Capable of playing in a variety of positions, he probably produced his best football as a centre half back with the Double Blues, for whom he played in the 1998 grand final loss to Port Adelaide.
