Despite standing only 178cm and weighing just 76kg Percy Outram played for almost his entire VFL career as a specialist full forward. Extremely elusive and capable of snapping goals from almost any angle, he engaged in two very similar stints with both of his league clubs. From 1925 to 1927 he played 24 games and scored 43 goals with Carlton, followed by 27 games and 51 goals for St Kilda between 1928 and 1930.
