Sean King was a high possession gathering midfielder who was a stand-out performer for West Perth in 60 WAFL games from 1986 to 1989, during which he bagged 48 goals. In 1987 he was an inaugural West Coast squad member but was selected just once before being discarded. He was probably a trifle unfortunate never to represent Western Australia, but he did play for the Australian Amateurs at the 1988 Bicentennial carnival in Adelaide.
