Thomas Seymour Hill


Thomas Seymour Hill was a prominent football administrator for almost 40 years. He commenced as secretary of Norwood in 1926 and after 10 years in that role assumed the equivalent position with the league. Hill remained as SANFL secretary until 1963, combining his duties between 1938 and 1947 with those of secretary of the Australian National Football Council (ANFC). The SANFL’s senior grade premiership cup is named in his honour.
