After failing to make the grade at Woodville-West Torrens Todd Davey joined Norwood in 1994 and quickly found his feet. Much admired for his hard attack on the ball, he played 86 SANFL games and kicked 18 goals in six seasons with the Redlegs. He was a member of the club’s 1997 grand final-winning team against Port Adelaide.
