South Barwon

Over the course of twenty-seven seasons of competition in the Geelong Football League South Barwon has enjoyed considerable success, with the club’s senior grade side having contested a total of ten grand finals, all but two of which resulted in victories. Prior to the merger Barwon had claimed a total of eleven senior grade premierships and Belmont three.

The Swans' most recent senior flag was attained in 2013 courtesy of a 13.16 (94) to 12.2 (74) grand final defeat of Grovedale. Since then they have finished sixth in 2014, eighth in both 2015 and 2016, ninth in 2017 on the twelve club premiership ladder and fourth in 2018 when they exited the finals at the hands of eventual premiership team St. Joseph's.
