Baywara

Football on the Gove Peninsula is flourishing, and Baywara is a recent addition to the area’s football competition. The side’s sole flag came in 2007 thanks to an 11.12 (78) to 10.6 (66) grand final defeat of Saints. Prior to the start of the 2017 season the club was reorganised by means of an amalgamation with a new entity to form the Nhulunbuy Baywara Football Club.[1] The 2018 season saw the side finishing last on the four team premiership ladder.
