Beenleigh WFC

Formed in 2017 Beenleigh Women's Football Club spent its debut season competing in Division Two of the two tier Queensland Women's Football Association. The side did well, winning 9 out of 14 home and away matches to qualify for the finals in fourth place. However, the Buffaloes' form in their elimination final clash with Pine Rivers was dismal and they registered just a solitary behind in going down by 23 points. Nevertheless, it would be unfair to cast judgement on the basis of a single poor performance and overall the 2017 season must be adjudged as relatively promising. A year later, however, now competing in the newly formed Division Two South competition they endured a testing season winning just twice en route to a seventh (of eight) place finish.
