Bell Post Hill
Bell Post Hill commenced in the Geelong and District Football League in 1977 but took a while to find their feet. They were losing grand finalists in 1983 and 1988 but tended to struggle for most of the next couple of decades. However, over the past decade they have burst into life and become by some measure the competition's most successful club, contesting every grand final between 2008 and 2017, and emerging victorious from seven of them. Most of the premierships have been won emphatically, with margins of 103 points against Werribee Centrals in 2010, 27 points over East Geelong in 2011, 13 points versus East Geelong in 2012, 54 points against North Geelong in 2014, 83 points against North Geelong in 2015, Bannockburn by 58 points in 2016 and Inverleigh by 39 points in 2017. In both 2012 and 2017 the club secured the rare double of both senior and reserve grade flags. They also displayed all round strength in 2018, with the seniors finishing third and the reserves fourth. The 2019 season brought a significant fall from grace, however, with the seniors running 10th, and the reserves plummeting to the wooden spoon.
