Bencubbin

Bencubbin was a founder member in 1968 of the Central Wheatbelt Football League, which was formed by means of a merger between the Dampier Football Association and the Koorda Wyalkatchem Football Association. The club’s CWFL record is a creditable one, spawning half a dozen senior grade premierships, a haul which only Beacon (fourteen) and Mukinbudin (nine) have bettered. Bencubbin’s most recent premiership came in 2013 when they downed Kalannie in the grand final by 16 points, 12.8 (80) to 10.4 (64). Their most recent finals appearance came in 2018 when they reached the grand final only to go down by 12 points to Mukinbudin.
