Bullsbrook
When, in 2001, the Hills Football Association was temporarily split into two divisions Bullsbrook reached the second tier grand final in which they downed Mundaring by a single point giving them their first and so far only senior grade flag.
The closest Bullsbrook has come to claiming a second flag was in 2006 when the side reached the grand final of what was by then a single division competition only to sustain a horrendous 15 goal mauling at the hands of Gidgegannup. Prior to the 2020 season recent performances were not particularly noteworthy, as exemplified by the 2016, 2017 and 2018 seasons which produced just a single win in 45 starts for, needless to say, a hat trick of wooden spoons. The Saints performed slightly better in a 2019 season which saw them procure victory three times, but this was still not good enough for them to avoid the ignominy of a last place finish.
The 2020 season was conducted on a reduced scale basis because of the coronavirus pandemic, and the Saints found the new arrangements much to their liking as they made a long overdue finals appearance, ultimately finishing third after beating Chidlow in the first semi final, and losing to Pickering Brook in the preliminary final.
