Caramut

The Swans have enjoyed only sporadic premiership success since commencing in the Mininera and District Football League in 1965. Most recently, they went top in 1999 thanks to a 15.8 (98) to 9.13 (67) grand final defeat of a Tatyoon side that had triumphed when the two sides had clashed at the same stage a year earlier. Caramut also qualified for the 2001 grand final but lost by an embarrassing 111 point margin to Wickliffe Lake Bolac. Over the past decade or so the Swans have been a middle of the road side, never quite managing to qualify for the finals, but only once - in 2018 - succumbing to the indignity of a wooden spoon.

The club’s other grades have managed similarly intermittent success with the reserves winning flags in 1988 and 1991 and the under age side in 1984 and 1994.
