Centrals

Since the turn of the century Centrals have played off in nine grand finals but emerged victorious from only two of them. ln 2010 they narrowly fended off the grand final challenge of Tigers, winning 10.14 (74) to 10.9 (69). Two years later they comfortably accounted for Saints on grand final day with scores of 17.19 (121) to 10.7 (67). They have competed in the Newman National Football League since the competition commenced in 1972 and claimed a premiership at the first time of asking by downing Tigers in that year's grand final.

Since obtaining their second flag in 2012 Centrals have finished third (2013), runners-up to Saints (2014), third (2015), second behind Saints (2016) and fourth and last (2017, 2018 and 2019). The NNFL spent the 2020 season in recess because of the global coronavirus pandemic.
