Cunderdin

Cunderdin were founder members in 1959 of the Avon Football Association, and the club’s tally of nine senior grade premierships is matched only by Beverley. The Magpies' most recent flag was obtained in 2014 by means of a 20.18 (138) to 17.10 (112) grand final defeat of Northam Railways. There was double cause for celebration as the club's reserve grade side also went top. In stark contrast the 2017 and 2018 seasons saw the Magpies consigned to wooden spoons in both grades. In 2019 the seniors again slumped to the wooden spoon with the reserves improving slightly to finish sixth (of seven). The 2020 season saw the competition go into mothballs because of the coronavirus pandemic.
