Dowerin

Dowerin’s 2008 season was arguably the greatest in the club’s history, with both seniors and reserves claiming premierships. The seniors did so from third place, defeating Calingiri in the grand final by 14 points, 15.9 (99) to 12.13 (85). The reserves achieved their success by the narrowest of margins, also at the expense of Calingiri. In 2005 the club had come close to achieving the ‘double’ as well, the seniors accounting for Calingiri in their grand final, but the reserves falling short against Toodyay.

After capturing further senior grade flags in 2010 and 2012 the Tigers entered into a merger arrangement with Wyalkatchem.
