Exmouth Eagles

The Eagles have so far claimed seven senior grade flags, the most recent of which came in 2016 when they resoundingly accounted for the grand final challenge of Ramblers with scores of 25.16 (166) to 3.4 (22), a winning margin of 144 points. The triumph was especially satisfying in that it followed a sequence of three consecutive grand final losses.

The 2017 season saw the Eagles again qualify for the grand final but despite starting the match as warm favourites they slumped to a 46 point loss at the hands of Ramblers. A year later they topped the ladder which meant they automatically qualified for the grand final but once again they underperformed when it mattered most and opponents Warriors edged home by nine points after a sea-sawing tussle which saw the lead frequently alternate. A year later the Eagles again finished runners-up after losing the grand final to Ramblers by a bare point. Finally, in 2020 they broke through to claim their eighth senior grade flag. It was a conclusive triumph too as they trounced Ramblers in the grand final by 58 points, 16.13 (109) to 8.3 (51).
