The Tigers have emerged victorious from the only couple of North Coast AFL grand finals in which they have appeared. In 2011 they accounted for Port Macquarie by 15 points, 10.10 (70) to 8.7 (55). A year later they were convincing winners against Sawtell Toormina with scores of 16.8 (104) to 7.14 (56), a victory margin of 48 points. Recent seasons have seen the side struggle in the main, including a sequence of five successive wooden spoons from 2015 to 2019. It was therefore something of a surprise when the Tigers produced an exemplary 2020 campaign which culminated in an 8.10 (58) to 2.8 (20) grand final defeat of Sawtell Toormina.
