The Bulls commenced in the newly established South West Football League women's competition in 2017, getting as far as the grand final, which unfortunately provided the one disappointing factor in an otherwise fine season. Opposed by Bunbury, they went down fighting by 3 points, 2.1 (13) to 2.4 (16). A year later the same two sides faced one another on grand final day and unfortunately for the Bulls it was a case of history repeating itself as Bunbury went "back to back". The Bulls were the better side for much of the second half but they still went down by 9 points.
