Kenmore
Formed as recently as 1997, the Bears have already made significant strides, with their seniors gaining a place in the State Association’s top division this year. The club won a senior flag in its debut season, and went back to back the following year. A third senior premiership followed in 2002.
Saturday 9th September 2006 was the proudest day in Kenmore’s brief history to date as they trounced Logan Cobras in the State Association’s Division Two grand final by 77 points. The Bears led at every change by 31, 52 and 73 points, with Tom Cook best on ground, and Shayne Etherton contributing 6 of his team’s 22 goals.
As of the 2017 season Kenmore began competing in the Queensland (Australian) Football Association's Second Division. They enjoyed a promising debut season, winning 10 out of 18 home and away matches to qualify for the finals in fourth place. They then accounted for Coomera in the elimination final and Robina in the first semi final before sliding to defeat in the preliminary final against Moreton Bay to finish in a creditable third position. A year later they struggled somewhat and ended up eighth of ten teams.
