Panmure

The Bulldogs captured a senior grade premiership in their first season in the Warrnambool and District Football League. Opposed in the 1997 grand final by Merrivale they eased home by 25 points, 16.8 (104) to 11.13 (79). The ensuing season brought another grand final appearance but on that occasion Russells Creek proved too strong. Following the turn of the century Panmure immediately played off for the flag twice, downing Deakin University by 22 points in 2001 and Merrivale by five straight kicks the following year.

The Bulldogs again went back to back in 2012 and 2013, downing Kolora Noorat by 4 points in the former year's grand final, and Dennington by 50 points a year later. The 2014 season brought a third straight grand final appearance for Panmure but on this occasion opponents Merrivale proved too strong and won by 9 points. The last four seasons have seen the Bulldogs finishing well out of premiership contention in eighth (2015), ninth (2016), eighth (2017) and eleventh and last (2018) places.
