Powelltown

In 2006, faced with steadily declining player numbers and the prospect of a lingering death, Powelltown took the brave decision to go into mothballs for a year in order to focus purely on rebuilding. The decision was swiftly vindicated as, since resurfacing in 2007, the club has re-established itself as a viable force in the competition. In recent seasons, competing in Division Two of the Yarra Ranges Football Netball League, they have performed strongly, contesting the finals in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017 albeit without, as yet adding to the sole senior grade premiership captured in 2018.
