Railways (Albany)

Known at various times as East Albany and Albany Railways, but latterly simply as Railways, the Tigers were seventy years old in 2016. They have claimed a total of five senior grade premierships in both the Southern Districts National Football League and the Great Southern Football League. In 2012 and 2013 they went back to back, downing Denmark Walpole by 10 goals in the former year’s grand final, and North Albany by 22 points a year later. The 2013 season was especially memorable as not only did the league side obtain premiership honours but so too did both the reserves and under seventeens.

Recent seasons have seen the Tigers finishing third (2014), runners-up to North Albany (2015), fourth (both 2016 and 2017) and second to North Albany once more (2018).
