After joining Subiaco from South Fremantle in 1988 Brad McDougall produced the best sustained football of his career, playing in a premiership team in his first season and earning the Lions’ fairest and best award in his second. A highly productive midfielder who enjoyed kicking a goal, he had played 26 games and kicked 56 goals for South in 1986-7 prior to joining Subi, where he added a final 56 games and 106 goals over four seasons.
