By no means flashy or ostentatious in his approach Len Stott nevertheless got the job done with a minimum of fuss. Having played for Preston in the VFA he joined Fitzroy in 1932 and was a consistent performer, mainly across centre, in 62 VFL games over half a dozen seasons, in which he registered 16 goals.
