Masala

Masala, which translates as "a mix of spices", is a rarity in the world of Australian football in that it is a genuinely and avowedly multicultural club. Known as the Tigers, they also boast the tagline "spicy footy". Admitted to the VAFA's Club XVIII competition in 2013 they obtained senior grade status two years later and have spent the last couple of seasons participating in Division Four. In 2015 they won just 2 games, improving marginally a year later when they managed 1 more victory. They continued to struggle in 2017, winning 2 and drawing 1 match to end up in eighth place on the nine team premiership ladder. A year later they slumped to the wooden spoon after finishing with a 2-16 record.
