Warrandyte

Warrandyte’s first senior grade Eastern Districts Football League flag was won in Division Two in 1966. Opposed in the grand final by Surrey Hills the Bloods won a low scoring encounter with some comfort by 21 points, 9.6 (60) to 6.3 (39). In some ways this might be seen as the high point in Warrandyte’s history as it remains the highest grade premiership to have been won by the club. There have nevertheless been other triumphs - three flags in Division Three and two in Division Four - and many noteworthy performances, including no fewer than a dozen 300 point-plus scores. The Bloods have also finished runners-up on three occasions.

Warrandyte currently compete in Division Three following their 2015 grand final success in Division Four which came at the expense of Kilsyth with scores of 16.11 (107) to 12.12 (84). Their first season at their new level saw them finishing tenth of twelve clubs while in 2017 they dropped to eleventh, a result that was repeated in 2018.
