Yea’s history runs unbroken, apart from wartime, from 1893. The club has participated in numerous different leagues and associations over the years, claiming a total of fifteen senior grade premierships. Since 2008 the Tigers have competed in the Yarra Ranges Football Netball League, with their best season to date coming in 2016 when they contested the Division Two finals for the first time and got as far as a preliminary final defeat at the hands of Kinglake. After that the 2017 season was immensely disappointing as the Tigers only managed 2 wins from 16 matches to finish second from last. They improved on this showing a year later when their tally of 6 wins saw them finish sixth and miss out on finals participation only on percentage.
