The Jets enjoyed sporadic success in AFL Sydney's fourth tier competition. Most recently they won back to back flags in 2005 and 2006 in what was known at the time as Division Two of the Sydney Football Association. The Jets' grand final opponents in both years were Sydney University with their margins of victory being 35 points in the former year and 16 points in the latter. Recent seasons have seen the Jets line up in AFL Sydney's fourth tier competition known as Division Three where they finished seventh in 2015, third in 2016, and fourth in 2017. As of 2018, however, they lined up in Division One, which is essentially a third tier competition. Performances were solid in that they won 8 of their 17 home and away matches to finish fifth of eight teams.
