Huntly

Huntly has competed in the Heathcote District Football League since the club’s formation in 1986, but has yet to claim a senior grade premiership. After a prolonged sequence of rather poor returns the Hawks made it through to their first ever senior grade grand final in 2013 but found themselves comprehensively outgunned by Lockington Bamawn United ('LBU') who won by 58 points. The ensuing five seasons have brought seventh (2014), fifth (2015), third (both 2016) and fourth (2018) on what is a nine team premiership ladder.

Huntly's only HDFL premiership in any grade was won by the under seventeens in 2002. For good measure they earned the title 'champions' after winning every match for the year.
