Deanmill
When the Hawks overcame Southerners by 13 points in the 2015 Lower South West Football League senior grade grand final it gave them their seventeenth premiership in the competition. Only Southerners, with nineteen flags to their credit, have a better record. Deanmill’s success has been achieved steadily and systematically rather than in isolated flurries, with the longest premiership drought the club has had to endure being a mere seven seasons.
The last four seasons have seen Deanmill make the finals and finish third in 2016, fourth in 2017 and runners-up (to Imperials) in 2018 and (to Bridgetown) in 2019. There was no senior LWFL competition in 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.
