Gopu

Gopu is one of the leading clubs in the AFL Gove competition although in common with all other members of the league its history has not been well recorded. The club can boast the most highly decorated player in league history in the shape of four time competition best and fairest award winner Daniel Bromot. In 2017 Gopu reached the grand final only to fall short by a goal against Djarrack. Gopu the reached the 2018 grand final but, after matching opponents Nguykal for three quarters, fell in a hole in the last to succumb by 28 points.
