Harrow Balmoral

Since emerging out of the marriage of the Balmoral and Douglas Harrow Miga Lake Football Clubs in 1996 Harrow Balmoral has consistently been there or thereabouts in the Horsham and District Football League. The ‘Roos first reached the grand final in 1999, their third season, when they overcame Kalkee by the narrowest of margins, 6.10 (46) to 6.9 (45). In both 2000 and 2001 Harrow Balmoral finished third and then in 2002 the side claimed its second senior grade premiership with a 14.8 (92) to 13.7 (85) grand final defeat of Rupanyup.

The 2003 season brought another grand final appearance but the ‘Roos lost narrowly to Swifts. A year later, however, they made amends with a comprehensive 13.9 (87) to 6.3 (39) grand final demolition of Laharum. Since 2004 the side has contested another eight senior grade grand finals, emerging victorious from those of 2007, when they accounted for Kalkee by 41 points, and 2018, when they again had the better of Kalkee, this time by a 25 point margin.
