In 2009 the Bulls have ventured to pastures new by entering the South West Football League after spending the first fifteen seasons of their existence competing in the Peel Football League. They had proved to be a highly consistent force in that competition, with the seniors qualifying for the finals on ten occasions and reaching half a dozen grand finals. In 1996, 2004 and 2005 they claimed the premiership. The club’s reserves side also enjoyed success, winning flags in 2000 and 2002. To date, there have been no premiership triumphs in the SWFL, and indeed the Bulls initially tended to struggle. However, the last three seasons have seen them get as far as the preliminary final, suggesting that that elusive first flag might not be all that long in arriving.
