Natone

Natone had won five senior grade flags in two competitions by the time they commenced in the Darwin Football Association in 1965. Their record since has been a good one, particularly over the past three decades or so. When they downed Queenstown Crows by 13 points in the 2011 grand final it gave them their seventh flag. Their most recent grand final appearance came in 2016 but opponents South Burnie proved much too strong and emerged victorious by 64 points. The following season saw the Magpies withstand the elimination final challenge of Yeoman before succumbing by a couple of goals to Queenstown Crows in the first semi final. As a consequence, they were placed fourth. After that, the 2018 season proved somewhat disappointing as the Magpies only managed 7 wins from 19 roster matches to finish sixth.
