Pioneer

With thirty-two senior grade premierships to their credit the Eagles have been by some measure AFL Central Australia’s most successful club. They won their first flag in the competition’s inaugural season and their thirty-second in 2010. The grand final opposition on both occasions was provided by Federals, with Pioneers winning by margins of 8 points in 1947 and 3 points in 2010. The last few seasons have brought second (both 2013 and 2014), third (2015), second (2016), fourth (2017) and fifth and last (2018) place finishes.
