Rupanyup

Prior to transferring to the Horsham District Football League in 1981 Rupanyup had enjoyed senior grade premiership success on seven occasions, including three in the powerful Wimmera Football League. Their tally of seven Horsham and District Football League premierships between 1985 and 2001 made them that competition's most successful club over that period. More recently they have fallen on hard times with most seasons involving a battle to avoid the wooden spoon rather than a bid for premiership honours. For instance, they finished seventh of ten in 2013, ninth of ten in 2014, ninth of eleven in 2015, eleventh of twelve in 2016, tenth of twelve in 2017 and ninth of eleven in 2018.
