Tarwin

The Sharks struggled for many years following their admission to the Alberton Football League, but the early years of the present century saw them emerge as one of the competition’s pace setters. They achieved their first senior grade premiership victory in 2004, downing Meeniyan-Dumbalk United in the grand final by 32 points, and they were consistently competitive for the remainder of the decade. They qualified for the finals in 2007, but had their premiership ambitions immediately derailed by Inverloch Kongwak. Tarwin again contested the finals in 2008, 2009 and 2010 but have not managed to do so since, although in 2017 they failed to do so only on percentage.
