Ultima

Ultima’s record since commencing in the Kerang District Football League, precursor of the Golden Rivers Football League, in 1979 is excellent. The ‘Roos won a senior grade flag in only their third season, and have since added nine more, making them by some measure the competition’s most successful club over that period, and the third most successful overall (after Wandella and Murrabit).

Prior to commencing in the KDFL the ‘Roos had enjoyed premiership success in various competitions at least five times, with records for some seasons being incomplete.

In recent years the 'Roos have repeatedly reaffirmed their status as one of the GRFL's leading lights. They contested every grand final between 2013 and 2018, emerging victorious in 2014 at the expense of Nullawil and 2015 against Quambatook.
