The Eagles reached their first East Kimberley Football League grand final in 2007 but lost a tightly contested encounter with Ord River Magpies by 9 points. Since then, they have qualified for two further grand finals only to lose to Halls Creek Hawks in 2009 and Waringarri Crows in 2010. Subsequent seasons have been somewhat more of a struggle although they did manage to reach a preliminary final in 2014, losing by 26 points to Port Wyndham Crocs. By comparison, the 2015 season was somewhat disappointing as they missed the finals, while in 2016 things went from bad to worse with the Eagles' tally of just 3 wins consigning them to second from last position on the ten team premiership ladder. The 2017 season brought dramatic improvement as they qualified for the finals in fifth place which was where they ultimately finished after losing the elimination final to Ord River Magpies. A year later they finished sixth (of ten), missing out on fifth place and participation in the finals only on percentage.
