Yolla

Since the late 1970s Yolla Football Club has been one of the strongest teams in the Darwin Football Association (DFA). Admitted to the DFA in 1951 as Tewkesbury, the club changed its name to Yolla in 1953, but didn't break through for their first premiership until 1979. The club then went on to claim flags in 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1991, and 1992. A lean period followed before the dual success of 2005 and 2006 since which the Demons have experienced mixed fortunes but no further grand final appearances
