The Tigers hosting the Redlegs under the lights of Gliderol Stadium at Glenelg. Success against the Redlegs hasn't come easy for the Tigers in recent times, up until early 2010 the Tigers had the wood on them. From the last eight games the Bays have won just two, one each at Glenelg and at The Parade. But the last game in Round 23 was a bitter pill to swallow, in a really low-scoring contest at Gliderol the Redlegs left with an eight-point win in a rare wobble from the 2012 season. The game would have 25 scoring shots on the board with only 11 goals kicked.
The Tigers started off best on the scoreboard, but it was only inaccuracy that was holding the Redlegs back as the game began with a 4.1 to 2.5 first quarter. The Redlegs would shrug that first term funk off quickly with an 8.3 to 3.3 second quarter to wrest control of the match and take a 22-point advantage at the half-time break. The visitors kept up the tempo in the second half as they restricted the Tigers to an inaccurate third term effort of 1.5 to 5.5, at three quarter-time the deficit was out to 46 points. The Redlegs final term mirrored their first in terms of missed shots, but the six-pointers were slightly more plentiful than that quarter of football as they added 6.8 to a lousy single goal as Norwood ran out 14-goal winners.
Ben Warren and Peter Persinos bagged four goals each, but it was Brett Zorzi that took out best afield honours for the 'Legs, the Tigers named Jarryd Lyons as their best on ground.
